Circuit boards today are like glued-together LEGO® bricks: the only way to recycle them is through destruction. Stroom introduces an innovative process to create highly recyclable circuit boards. By rethinking how circuit boards are made, Stroom enables them to take themselves apart, allowing for efficient material separation and the reuse of electronic components in new products. This approach is more sustainable and paves the way for a circular electronics economy.
Stroom envisions a future where hybrid materials can incorporate circuits without compromising recyclability. This breakthrough not only enhances sustainability but also inspires radically new forms and aesthetics in electronics.
