A subversive design philosophy
At its core, Drag Design is the pursuit of ultra-condensed, instantly effective storytelling — binding materiality and meaning the way haute couture runways and drag shows do. A single look can tell an entire story, without a word spoken.
Rooted in my master's thesis at the Royal College of Art (Distinction) and developed through ongoing practice, Drag Design is an artistic approach — one that thrives on contradiction, theatricality, and tension to reveal new possibilities in design.
It is camp as a method: taking the overlooked, the excessive, and the taboo, and staging them as objects of desire.
