PLATE-X

Drawing inspiration from the seductive visual of latex contouring the human body, Plate-X is a collection of provocative porcelain dishes that dare you to indulge. These sumptuous forms blend sculptural artistry with practicality — ideal for serving gourmet cuisine in an eccentric fashion. Adorned with glossy glaze and bound by luscious latex, they invite curiosity and play, embodying the distinct queer vitality we bring to the table (pun intended).

Plate-X was developed in collaboration with ceramicist and activist Hani Dresner through a series of tactile experiments using clay and latex-based materials. It was exhibited during Milan Design Week 2024 as part of Sit, Feast on Your Life — a collection of joyful tableware that fosters interaction at the table.
